Meet the Team Here at the RunSpace!

This is Cat

Cat is the head coach and founder of the RunSpace. She's the mastermind behind your sessions, training plans, chief cheerleader when you're running strong, and the voice of reason in those Maranoia-induced panics! She is a hugely passionate runner, who's professionally qualified, knowledgeable and experienced. She draws on and shares her experiences as a competitive British Army runner to help her coachees when appropriate, and she is vulnerable in her own running journey to ensure you know that running is not just a linear process. Often found on the track, she's equally often found taking pictures of ducks on her runs, and making friends with any of the local animals that are on her usual routes, because all best training programmes have balance!

This is Jesse (Owens)

Quality inspection, chief supporter and head of laps: makes a lot of noise, but nothing of substance (mostly meow). Cannot run in a straight line, all complaints fall on deaf ears (quite literally). Can often be found doing laps (of the coffee table) to check the number needed in your plan!

This is Kipchoge

Clothing supervisor, he will ensure there is plenty of cat hair on your training plan at all times. Also potentially nutrition support, with whatever he fetches in from his adventures! The ominous gravestone picture makes him appear far more menacing than he is! Just don't admit that you skipped your strength training this week...

This is Mo (Farah)

Mo can't remember her job title, she's too busy having fluff instead of a brain. She did, however, recently discover she has back paws, much to her amusement. She is in charge of all things running form, which for a cat who only just discovered her back paws, says a lot. Thankfully Head Coach Cat does check on this department! Mo is also in charge of rest and recuperation, something she EXCELS at!

This is Tom

Tom is the second human coach at the RunSpace, who knows his place, beneath the cats on the roll of staff! He coaches alongside Cat on the Club Coaching and Club Training Plan programmes, providing feedback and support to athletes. A former competitive cyclist, he has come over to the dark side and is rapidly closing in on a sub-3 marathon. He draws on his own experience and knowledge to enable athletes to get the best from their training!
